Recalls: VW Jetta and Honda Odyssey

Read on US News Best Cars site that there's slight issues with 71,000 Volkswagen Jettas: honking may inadvertently cause engine shut-off.

On the other hand, Honda's Odyssey seemingly has some issues with how the front door windows were installed, where the glass can become loose and not respond to the control, making it inoperable.

• 285,000 Hyundai Elantras, airbag inflation issue
• Kia Optimas, rolling away problem
• 20,500 Jeep Wranglers, axle problem

Dead Body Pool

Toyota's carcass is floating at the top of the automotive dead body pool replacing Saab and a few others... at least this week anyway.

Honda is dipping its big toe in this lovely pool today as well, what with their airbag inflator recall.
