Automotive Recalls

The majority of recalls are due to fuel line issues, what's the deal people? As if fuel wasn't expensive enough (not to mention these vehicles themselves) or what?

• BMW is recalling approximately 250 Mini Cooper/Mini Cooper S due to erroneous tire information (?).
• 2002-2003 Subaru Impreza WRX recalled due to fuel delivery line leak/fire hazard.
• Harley Davidson recalling 110,000 bikes due to potential fire hazard/fuel leak during crashes.
• 2010 Range Rover recalled because passenger airbag may not deploy during accidents.
• 2009 Mercedes Benz G550 recalled due to potentially hazardous fuel line leak.
• 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee because passenger side airbag may not deploy in an accident.
• 2008-2010 Honda Accord which has been fitted w aftermarket nose masks - interferes with hood latch mechanism.

It's interesting how you can easily start tracing manufacturing/installation/sourcing patterns when recalls start popping out (Jeep and Range Rover both having airbag issues).
