This looks like an uptown version of the Nissan Z/Nissan Nismo offering.
As it regards elevation and looks, the front is the typical, liquid, almost feline (sleek and low) Infiniti body. The front looks aggressive yet sleek. A massive, very visible dual exhaust (Y-pipe config) is one of the major design elements of the rear view.

Numerous aluminum features in the interior add to the sporting feel of the vehicle, without being overbearingly industrial. The interior looks posh and comfortable.
Red thread outlines the leather seats. The red, bucket seats look particularly spectacular.
Car and Driver's Car News column tell us a little more about this new car in an August 2010 article:
- 20% stiffer springs in front, 10% firmer springs in back, new shocks, and a sportier steering rack
- a 348-hp version of Infiniti’s high-revving 3.7-liter V-6 -- nearly identical to the 350-hp V-6 from Nissan’s NISMO 370Z—both engines make an identical 276 pound-feet of torque at 5200 rpm
- six-speed manual—with a short-throw shifter in the IPL—or a seven-speed automatic with paddle shifters mounted to the steering column
- will wear a price tag just north of $46,000 when it goes on sale in December
- fourteen-spoke 19-inch wheels painted dark grey
- standard interior equipment includes a Bose stereo, satellite navigation, rear-view camera, and a sunroof
Infiniti Americas VP Ben Poore walks you through the IPL G in the YouTube video below, which I first saw on the Infiniti Facebook page:
