"The third-generation boxer engine has been redesigned from the ground up, with a longer stroke, narrower bore and more compact combustion chamber contributing to a 10-percent improvement in fuel efficiency and better performance.
The new 2.0-liter version of the boxer-4 has a higher 10.5:1 compression ratio (compared with 10.2:1). Bore and stroke are 84-by-90mm, compared with 92-by-75mm on the previous-generation 2.0-liter engine. Output remains the same, at 146 horsepower, while torque climbs from 141 to 145 pound-feet."
