Useful Online Automotive Search Tips

As I keep trying to compare similar cars, like, say hatchbacks, there's a few search tips that can make it easier and faster to find the information you need.

For example, if you're looking to compare wheelbase for several models, you can go to Google and type: [modelname] wheelbase The results can be scanned through quickly to identify useful and factual resources such as Wiki, Edmunds, Motor Trend, and Inside Line, Car and Driver, Top Gear. I would exclude any bulletin boards or discussion forums.

Other useful searches can be:
[modelname] mpg
[modelname] torque
[modelname] 0-60

Depending on what you are looking for to compare. It's good practice to save these results on a spreadsheet so you can always refer back to it later, rather than having to re-search everything each time.
